Courage, here we come; office closed Monday, July 23

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to our Courage Classic ride this weekend! As of 2:50 pm Friday, we've raised $46,932 for Children's Hospital Colorado. We are overwhelmed by your generosity for this very worthy cause. We're still hoping to get to $50,000, so feel free to donate if you haven't already: http://couragetours.com/2012/laird The entire staff of Insight Designs will be taking part in the 155-mile, 3-day ride that starts tomorrow in the Colorado mountains. That means our office will be closed on Monday, July 23. We'll be back at our desks on Tuesday - exhausted and sore, but ready to dive into work. Thanks for making us fork over $10K for kids with cancer!

Thanks to all of you who've contributed to our Courage Classic fundraising effort. Our team - A Cure Insight - reached a major milestone this week. We hit the $10,000 mark, which triggered a $10,000 matching donation from Insight Designs. We're so thrilled to be supporting Children's Hospital Colorado. And we're touched by the number of friends, clients and colleagues who are joining us in this effort. Our goal is to raise $50,000, the minimum required to be able to earmark the funding for a particular cause. We'd like our money to go to the oncology department, where my son Laird was treated for cancer last year. We're 41% of the way there with a total of $20,276 in donations. And once we hit $30,000, it will trigger another $10,000 match from my family. So if you haven't already donated, please consider doing so. Help us fund research to cure all kids with cancer! All of us at Insight Designs are gearing up for this summer's Courage Classic bike ride to benefit Children's Hospital Colorado. Our very own Keith Harper designed these awesome bike jerseys for our team "A Cure Insight." Help us help kids with cancer

As many of you know, last year my son Laird had an extremely aggressive,  but curable cancer called Burkitt's Lymphoma. Thanks to amazing medical care at Children's Hospital and to the love and support of so many, he is now a happy, healthy 5-year-old who loves riding his bike, reading, cooking, wrestling, playing cards and building legos. Laird's story has inspired everyone at Insight to ride in this July's Courage Classic, a 157-mile, 3-day bike ride with 10,000 feet of elevation gain that benefits Children's Hospital Colorado. Laird is even planning to ride 35 miles of it (we'll have a tag-a-long stashed along the route to help him if he gets worn out). He figures after what he went through last spring and summer (multiple surgeries, hundreds of hours of chemo and lots of other horrible stuff), this ride should be a piece of cake. Our team hopes to raise $50K for the oncology department at Children's to help other kids with cancer. Insight Designs will match the first $10K raised. And my family will personally match the next $10K. We hope you'll help.
